Berry & Banana sorbet

Nothing original, but this recipe is extremely easy and quick to make. Not to mention it’s delicious and it “goes down” perfectly on a hot sunny spring day here in New Zealand.

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 cup of mixed berries
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar

Peel and chop the bananas. Then put the banana slices (in a ziplock bag, for instance) and the berries in the freezer overnight.

On the following day, put the frozen banana slices, the frozen berries and sugar in a food processor. Add about 5o ml of water. Blend everything until smooth.

Serve it as soon as possible – it starts getting runny very quickly on a hot day!

Sprinkle some spirulina and chia seeds.
